Description

Retirement may be your most distant financial goal, but it’s also your most expensive — so it’s best to get the ball rolling as early as possible. At Ellevest, we believe a retirement plan should be the foundation for all your other goal planning.

In this session, you and an Ellevest financial planner will tackle the basics together: You’ll go over your retirement account options, then make a plan to start or keep investing (and catch up if you need to).

You’ll need to come with:

  • An estimate of your monthly expenses
  • Your estimated retirement contributions and savings so far, including existing 401(k)s and IRAs
  • An idea of the lifestyle you might want and expenses you might have in retirement

Note: An Ellevest account is required to attend this session, since we use the Ellevest Retirement goal as our retirement calculator. This session is also designed for people planning to retire more than five years from now. Check out our Comprehensive Planning Package + Unlimited Support to plan for you and a partner.

To purchase or attend a 1:1 session or group workshop, you must be located in the United States, not including territories.

What to expect

  • One 50-minute video call via Google Meet with an Ellevest financial planner
  • Help calculating what you’ll need to invest to reach your retirement goal
  • A one-page summary of your plan and next steps, emailed to you after the call

How it Works

After you check out, book your session right from the confirmation page. Choose the best day and time for your schedule.

Fill out a quick pre-session questionnaire. Your financial planner will use it to prep for your call so the two of you can hit the ground running.

When it’s time, your financial planner will join you on Google Meet.

After your call, your financial planner will follow up with action steps, resources, and info to help you use them.
